Overview of the Station
Vybz Fm is owned and operated by Westmoreland Broadcasting Service Limited of 93 Great George Street, Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica West Indies. Pursuant to Section 11F of the Broadcasting and Radio Re-Diffusion Act, the company was granted a license April 2004. The license permits the company to establish, maintain and operate a transmitting station in Western Jamaica. It also permits engagement in commercial sound broadcasting.

The Board of Directors are Viannie Morgan - Chairman, Patrick Facey – Technical Director, Richard Perry – Managing Director and James Morrel. The station is classified as a community radio station and as such, our programming are community related. We are currently commanding 70% listener ship in our coverage area making us the radio of choice for people in Western Jamaica.

Our aim is to continue with our mission to educate, entertain and inform our listeners whilst spreading a positive vibes for all.
